We live on a road that used to be a driveway for a large lot that is now subdivided into smaller parcels.  It’s a single lane wide with driveways off of it every so often.

The other day I turned onto it and one of our neighbors was walking and currently in a narrow spot where I wouldn’t be able to pass him without pushing him into the bushes. So I slowed to a creep and let him get ahead to a driveway. He apparently didn’t want to make me wait and started to jog.

My seven-year-old chimed in, “We’ve got a runner.”

About Annie

I am an occasionally confident, mostly comfortable woman. That hasn't always been the case, but, I have to say, it feels good to be at this place in my life now! As a mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend I hope to inspire, educate, and grow with all my readers through this blog. I embrace life and strive to find a refreshing glass of lemonade no matter how many lemons life tosses my way. I'm glad you're joining me on this journey. Cheers!
